Christmas Dinner, Christmas Presents and Massages .... Christmas definately came early for our readers!

After a short ride on the Piccadilly line to Heathrow last night, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Park Inn Heathrow Hotel to be put in the Christmas spirit instantly- albeit 94 days early!

PAs were greeted by the staff (in my case playing a game where the concierge had to fetch my bag twice for my camera then business cards and phone) and were then offered champagne and wine. Then we are shown into the Christmas showcase with Christmas trees and bauble's already in full swing!

The Park Inn team had joined forces with both John Lewis of High Wycombe and Clarin's whose staff were on hand to give massages and to give advise on skincare. Not surprisingly both were completely booked solid and there were some gorgeous dresses on show - one of which will become my dress for the Executive PA Magazine Awards. Add to this some stunning table decoration and gift ideas topped off with expert demonstrations on how to wrap presents.

Canapés of smoked salmon and prawn cocktail were served and went down a treat with everybody whilst we all networked their way round the room.

Anything you saw on the evening could be ordered there and then with the John Lewis staff in time to be picked up from any John Lewis store the following morning - better than internet shopping!

Michael Bublé Live Tribute Act and Christmas Dinner
The Christmas feel went on throughout the night and once everyone had sat down we all got a mini Christmas dinner that put a smile on a lot of people's faces. Even the brussel sprouts were nice.

The Michael Bublé act (pictured below) was shockingly convincing - he performed traditional Christmas songs and a selection from various Michael Bublé albums. All this went down a storm (especially with the PAs on the table next to ours who soon got up to dance).

In the interval and after a microphone and smoke machine malfunction, Executive PA Magazine's very own Rosie Annis (pictured below) thanked the venue and then Gareth Quin (Park Inn Heathrow) thanked everyone for attending.

Dessert was served not long after and we had more Bublé from the second part of his act. Before leaving after a fantastic evening, PAs were all given a John Lewis goody bag packed with all sorts of gifts. Rummaging through these meant our tube trip back to town passed in no time! The 'Prada - Candy' perfume sample in mine is today's office fragrance.
