The Chelsea Old Town Hall on the 2nd September

This event was hosted by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Executive PA Magazine readers were greeted in the Main Hall with catering laid on by one of the venues regular suppliers. Wine was served with canapes though readers seemed particularly taken with the incredible range of cakes and patisserie made specially for the event.

It's actually one of 2 venues run by the council - the other being Kensington Town Hall, a much more contemporary building which lends itself to conferences and exhibitions. Chelsea Old Town Hall is used a lot for awards, weddings, parties and dinners and you can see the appeal. It's in the middle of the King's Rd and the magnificent late Victorian building has been lovingly restored to its original glory, provides a beautiful, memorable and photogenic backdrop for almost any event.

Chelsea Old Town Hall is an accessible, affordable, friendly and elegant setting for a diverse range of events. Corporate events, product launches, parties, antique and art fairs, VIP banquets, music concerts, designer fashion sales, film, television and radio filming and recording, business exhibitions and conferences have all been welcomed by Chelsea.

This delightful building, which features state-of-the-art conference equipment and disabled access, contains an adaptable and accommodating space comprising the Main Hall with vaulted ceilings and marble columns, the Cadogan Suite, Bar and Ante Room, and the Small Hall with Minstrels’ Gallery.
