“I am absolutely delighted to have won this prestigious award and I am now looking forward to the exciting year ahead. I hope during that time I will be able to inspire anyone considering a career as a PA as I truly love my job and I look forward to sharing my experiences with any prospective PA’s. The awards evening was a great success and it was fantastic being able to celebrate the role of the PA which so often gets overlooked. I would like to thank Executive PA Magazine and Hays Recruitment for giving me this opportunity.” Judy Willett, Executive PA Magazine / Hays 2012 PA of the Year
Last night the London Film Museum rang out with the sound of hundreds of PAs cheering on their peers as the winners and finalists of the annual Executive PA Magazine | Hays awards were announced.

Andrew Organ (publisher) said 'This was as tough as I've seen it get - in both categories - but we really did have a fantastic panel of judges this year. The calibre of finalist was quite extraordinary and it's not surprising that we had to take extra time debating who should win. Every finalist should know what an incredible achievement it was to get through this stage After much deliberation it was unanimous that Judy and Debbie would be the 2012 winners. Congratulations to both of you!'
This annual celebration is designed to recognise the invaluable role PAs play in the workforce - they are after all the often silent cog in a firm that keeps everything turning. Last night, Thursday 13 September, we were joined by over 240 PAs at the London Film Museum as we crowned our 2012 winners. It was a night not to be missed - packed full of entertainment, cheers, laughter and celebrations. In the run up to the awards ceremony we were swamped with entries across the five categories and our judging panel had a tough task ahead of them to whittle the entries down to our winners and finalists. So to everyone who took home a trophy last night we'd like to offer you our congratulations - you truly are one of the UK's finest PAs!
We'll be bringing you more details from the night in the next weeks and look out for our latest issue with full covager which will be hitting desks at the end of the month. More pictures will follow next week.
