After months of preparation the PA industry’s most exclusive events took place – the Executive PA Magazine Awards 2011.
It was a whirlwind 48 hours for readers of Executive PA Magazine – at the Deckhouse in Sydney Australian readers spent Thursday evening recognising the hard work of Australia’s top PAs, before the UK Awards rolled into London on the Friday evening. This year the awards took place at the brand new Grange Tower Bridge Hotel which had been decked out to create a glamorous space for our readers to enjoy. Following a Champagne reception and a delicious three-course meal, it was time to find out who had been crowned winners for 2011.
For two of our most hotly anticipated categories our finalists had to attend a brief interview with our judging panel. Made up of industry experts, it was down to Jo Stuteley from Parker Wells, Jenny Hewell from IPA and IAM, Gemma Swain from SecsintheCity and Cora Lydon from Executive PA Magazine to make the tough decision over who would be walking away from the evening as a winner.
The fantastic evening was rounded off in style with a set from an Abba tribute act who encouraged everyone to get up on the dancefloor and dance the night away.
Thank you to everyone who made these awards possible – everyone who made a nomination, our sponsors Parker Wells, IPA/IAM, Lost IT, Corporate Traveller and Grange Hotels, Lost IT for the AV support, the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel for hosting and for everyone who came along to support our finalists.
