The annual Hays PA Conference was held on October 28th at the Hilton Waldorf Hotel, Aldwych in London. The Conference offers those working in the industry the opportunity to hear from a number of key speakers. The day started at 9am and following a welcome Victoria Darragh, from Hays Plc took the opportunity to update the audience on the Hays PA Network - which is celebrating its second year.

Next was a presentation on Raising your game and realising your potential, led by Christopher Juliff – PA to CEO, NHS and then Gareth Osborne, Director General of The Association of Personal Assistants talked about diversity and the PA role. After lunch Toby Caldwell from Illumine Training gave his presentation called Names, Faces & Other Stuff.

As well as the opportunity for those working in the PA industry to take away valuable tips and advice and stay in touch with the industry, there was also the opportunity for some informal networking and time to socialise. For guests who were interested a buffet meal was planned before a trip to the theatre to see The Wizard of Oz.
