We'd like to congratulate all of our winners and our finalists - this year saw an unprecedented number of entries and, as usual, the task for our judges was a difficult one. When the judges votes came back there were less than 3 marks between the winner of the coveted 2010 Executive PA Magazine 'PA of the Year' award and the 2 runners up who tied for second place. Dawn Carey of National Friendly won the top award and her prize is a stay at the Gild Hall in Manhatten with BA flights courtesy of Lotus Business Travel.

'Newcomer of the Year' was taken by Amie Watkins of CH & Co in a category that had a record number of entries since the awards began over 10 years ago.

The occasion also generated much praise for the talented team in the Royal Garden Hotel’s kitchen – Steve Munkley (head chef)  produced an inspirational menu that was incredibly well received and exceptionally well executed by the kitchen team and the waiting staff.

Guests were also kept entertained by musical ensemble Elegante, who energised the crowd in preparation for the awards. once all the awards had been announced celebarations continued into the night with an outstanding performance by Fake That. They looked great, sounded great and, if you blurred your eyes a little, looked remarkably like the real thing. They even brought on a 5th member a few tracks into the performance.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evnt so memorable and thank you to all the PAs who've emailed us abut the evening. For the winners it was emails of delight that they’d won a prestigious award to add to their CV, for the hundreds of PAs who attended it was to praise the event - and when you get praise on an event from a PA it is high praise indeed.

For a full review of the evening and for the photographs be sure to see the next issue of the magazine. If you'd like to attend the 2011 Executive PA Magazine Awards, get voting now.
