Being able to add a foreign language to your CV could go a long way to improving your employability, according to a new survey from Euro London Appointments. Eighty six per cent of employers surveyed said that languages proved to be an important skill for the workplace - with the majority (74%) citing traditional western European languages, such as French, German, Spanish and Italian, as being the most useful. But those who speak more exotic languages would still be welcomed with open arms as over a third of employers (37%) agreed that languages such as Mandarin and Arabic would see an increased demand in the future.
