Rail travel as a mode of transport for business travellers has seen somewhat of a resurgence - as figures from Evolvi Rail Systems demonstrate a boost in ticket sales by almost £250million last year. Evolvi Rail Systems, an online train booking specialist, calculated this increase to 12 per cent, a figure which shows rail to be out performing other travel sectors. The success of rail travel has been partly attributed to improved journey times along with enhanced facilities on trains such as WiWi and the introduction of quiet carriages to aid productivity for business users.
