We’re often led to believe that the lunch break is all too often a snatched sandwich, eaten at your desk. But research has revealed that many women would like to put that precious hour to better use - and undergo a non-invasive cosmetic treatment such as Botox. The Goodsurgeonguide.co.uk surveyed nearly 1,500 females and found that 76 per cent would consider a non-invasive treatment and of those, more than half would chose to book the appointment in their lunch hour rather than take a whole day’s holiday from the office. More worryingly is that fact that 42 per cent said their decision to book the treatment would be impulsive. So, next time you’re stuck in a post-lunch meeting and you’re drifting off you can amuse yourself by wondering who hotfooted it to Harley Street in their break.
