Is it an indignation too far? A West Midlands government office has implemented a 10 minute toilet break rule for workers, in an effort to boost productivity and increase its bottom line.

Should you be unlucky enough to still be in the cubicle after 10 minutes, you’ll be plunged into darkness as the lights are automatically set to turn out after this time. The government office say the initiative is in place to save wasted energy and money, while office workers are apparently furious with the new scheme and say the measures were brought in with no staff consultation.
