Looking for love? According to a new survey you just might find it in the office – although those in the administrative industry are least likely to enjoy an office romance than any other sector. It seems that hanging out in bars, dating websites and meeting friends of friends are swiftly losing favour as popular places to find love, as the office becomes the number one hotspot for landing yourself a new partner. A survey from TipTopJob.com revealed that a massive 40 per cent of people have found love in the workplace and almost half (18.4 per cent) have gone on to marry a colleague. The research revealed that love is most likely to blossom in the media, advertising, marketing and design sectors, while PAs and secretaries are the least likely to find love. But it’s not all bad news… a third of respondents claimed they had been ‘hit on’ by their boss and the majority of these people worked in secretarial roles. Oh, so perhaps it is bad news after all.
