On paper it may seem like the perfect job – working as a personal assistant for an attractive boss, but the reality, it seems, is anything but. New research from HireScores.com has found that many people felt an attractive boss would negatively affect their work performance. Forty seven per cent of men say they’d be too distracted to work for an attractive female boss, while 53 per cent of women claim they’d be too intimidated to work for a good looking male boss. Not too surprisingly the results were some what different when it came to attractive bosses of the same sex. A massive 86 per cent of men would feel threatened, while 61 per cent say they’d be jealous. Of those surveyed only 21 per cent of women and 16 per cent of men state that an attractive boss would have no bearing on their work. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder… and the only characteristic that should matter is whether the boss can actually do their job or not.
