Green may be the new black but it seems in the office there’s still a gaping divide between wanting and doing. According to the research by Office Angels only one third of UK offices (38 per cent) have green policies in place, with close to a quarter of offices (22 per cent) saying green policies have only been implemented in the last year. And while the green revolution may be taking a while to get off the ground the research also reveals that 73 per cent of office workers don’t believe that their small green steps will make a big difference. The divide can also be seen amongst office departments with forward thinking staff in marketing departments most likely to have implemented green changes while the HR department has the least green thinking workers.
