New sales statistics from Just-Eat.co.uk have revealed that as the threat of redundancy looms office workers are working longer hours, and more takeaways are being delivered to offices later than ever before. It seems more employees are eating their dinner at their desks to capitalise on their working day, with post-5pm ordering rising by a staggering 236 per cent in the last six months, compared to the six month period prior to that. Research also shows that 42 per cent of people have worked late on more than five occasions in the last month.
