For those who need to book long haul business? travel Air Asia X has just made it that bit cheaper with the launch of their flights from London Stanstead to Kuala Lumpur. Whispers have been around for some time that the low cost airline would be launching imminently and the first bookings were taken on November 25. The Malaysia-based Air Asia X will run five-times weekly flights from March 11 with prices starting from just ?99 one way including taxes. The flights will not include extras such as food, checked baggage, seat selection or entertainment but all can be added to a booking, and you can also upgrade to one of 30 XL seats offering similar space to business class on other carriers. From Kuala Lumpur passengers can reach many other destinations at relatively low cost including Melbourne (?246), Brunei (?55), Hong Kong (?98) and Jakarta (?50).
