British office workers spend nearly a quarter of the average working day rummaging around for files and papers at work, according to research commissioned by Steelcase. The independent research revealed that while bosses may think we’re wasting time facebooking our friends the truth is we’re spending between one and two hours hunting down that important file (and a quarter of us spend over two hours!). Although British companies are leading the way in Europe when it comes to working digitally and reducing paper documentation it seems that printed paper is still being stored in massive amounts making it difficult to find exactly what you need, when you need it.
