While most people dread Mondays there is a growing band of people who actually look forward to Mondays and see it is a prime time to focus on your career and start job hunting. Of the 13 per cent of people in an online poll who claimed they disliked Mondays the majority blamed their boss, suggesting a career move could only be a good thing. When asked what could improve a Monday morning, a third of workers (34 per cent) declared a new job would brighten their outlook. So if you spend your Sunday night fretting about the usual office politics and overloaded intray perhaps it’s time to start checking out your next role.
