Of those people questioned 23 per cent had worked for the same employer more than once – though often a return was on a temporary basis. The respondents’ reactions were mixed, with some claiming they felt it meant they were taken less seriously as part of the team while others felt it was good to return to a trusted team. Before you decide to go back to an ex-employer it’s always worth remembering why you left and then deciding whether these issues have been addressed or not – for many it’s not always second time lucky.
