British workers’ desks are drowning under unfilled piles of paper, food and soft toys, according to a new survey. In a bid to express our individualism in the workplace it seems more of us are choosing to litter our desks with personal photos and soft toys, according to research from Toshiba. However, it’s not just paperwork that is taking up valuable space. With 64 per cent of respondents confessed to amassing huge piles of paper that has yet to be filed, it seems Brits are losing their talents for filing. While 41 per cent of you do not have a regular sort out of your desk, a rather worrying 40 per cent admit you’d rather thrown printed paper out than worry about where to file it away.
