As National Thank You Week takes place new research reveals that almost a third of workers are never thanked for their work. Independent research commissioned by Maritz,?a performance improvement company, found that the number of those who say they receive no thanks for their hard work has increased significantly by 50 per cent from two years ago. Nine out of ten workers say that being thanked has a positive effect on morale at work, while 38 per cent say it improves their productivity and 36 per cent revealing that they'd feel more willing to remain with that same company. The survey was commissioned as part of National Thank You Week (19-23 November).
