London's most established satay restaurant has undergone a successful refurbishment. Satay House in Paddington has been given a whole new look courtesy of Bentheim – the people behind Wagamama and the Groucho Club. The 70-cover restaurant now exudes sophistication by blending vivid block colours with smooth oak tables, leather banquettes and wicker chairs. Satay House boasts a variety of noodle and rice dishes as well tasty curries rich in aromatic flavours. The chief policy of the executive chef is to use fresh ingredients and only authentic produce. The restaurant can create bespoke menus for private parties of up to 35 diners and the basement restaurant also benefits from large plasma screens making it the ideal place to combine business meetings and presentations with a delicious menu.
