It may be the season of good will but a staggering two thirds of workers would prefer to be anywhere else but the Christmas work party. In a survey commissioned by Croner the main reason for this un-festive behaviour is a reluctance to let their hair down with colleagues, with 41 per cent?of those that think Christmas parties are awful, preferring not to socialise with colleagues outside of work. Being caught up in office gossip, the cost of the party and a previously bad experience also factored in people's party pooping behaviour.
