Nominations for the 2013 Executive PA Magazine Hays Awards are now open.

There are two rounds of judging of nominations for Executive PA Magazine | Hays 2013 Awards Best Organised Event; Boss of the Year; and Employer of the Year award categories.

Second round finalists for the Executive PA Magazine | Hays 2013 Awards: PA of the Year and Newcomer of the Year categories will additionally be requested to attend an interview on the afternoon of the Weds 9th October (the second day of the Office* Show)

The Judging Panel for the 2013 Executive PA Magazine | Hays Awards has been named:

• Andrew Organ, Publisher of Executive PA Magazine (UK)
• Cora Lydon, Editor of Executive PA Magazine
• Jane Firth, Channel Lead at Hays PA and Secretarial 
• Victoria Darragh, EA to Group HR Director of Hays
• Judy Willett, 2013 PA of the Year, Carpetright Plc

Judging Process for the Executive PA / Hays awards 2013
The guidelines below are designed to give any interested parties full details of the judging process along with a timeline for this year’s competition. In the interests of keeping these awards as fair as possible, no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or any individual nomination by any of the judges or by any staff at Executive PA Magazine or at Hays PA & Secretarial.

Final date for nominations - Fri 23rd August
Nominations received after midnight 23.08.13 will not be accepted.
Entries are downloaded and formatted before the first screening.

Shortlist of will be created from initial nominations - Wed 28th August

CVs requested from all shortlisted PAs* -  Wed 28th August
These are requested from every nominee in the ‘top 40’ so an
‘interview list’ can be created.

Deadline for nominees to supply CVs* -  Mon 2nd Sept
Regrettably any nominee who cannot supply a cv by this date cannot be
included in the competition.

Interview list announced - Weds 3rd Sept
From the initial shortlist, 20 PAs are selected to go through to the
telephone interview stage. 

Every nominee who has made it through to the shortlist will be contacted
via email confirming whether or not they have made it through to the final 20.

Telephone interviews conducted Weds 3rd – Mon 9th Sept
These will be informal and usually last between 5 and 10 minutes

Finalists announced - Tues 10th Sept
Nominees will all be informed whether or not they have made it through
to the 6 finalists. Every PA who has made it to the telephone interview
stage will receive a certificate.

Finalists interviews - Weds 9th Oct
Interviews will take place between 1.00pm and 3.00pm at Grange City
Hotel in London ahead of the 2013 awards gala dinner. In order to be
eligible to receive this award, nominees must be able to attend this interview.

Winner and runners up announced - Weds 9th Oct
All winners are announced at the awards gala dinner at Grange
City Hotel.

*Please note that CV’s are used purely for judging in this competition and are not stored by either Executive PA Magazine or Hays PA & Secretarial.
